Health and Safety Coordination
Studio Chiarello provides health and safety coordination services both during the design phase and throughout the construction phase, drawing on the extensive experience of its professionals in the sector. We ensure competent and rigorous management in full compliance with current regulations, with the aim of safeguarding the health and safety of workers throughout all stages of the project and on site.

CSP – Health and Safety Coordinator during the Design Phase
The Health and Safety Coordinator during the Design Phase (CSP) plays a key role in risk prevention, being responsible for the preparation of the documentation required to ensure site safety.
Main activities:
- Preparation of the Health and Safety Plan (PSC), essential to ensuring a safe construction site.
- Preparation of the project safety file (fascicolo dell’opera), containing information useful for the prevention of risks to workers during future interventions.
CSE – Health and Safety Coordinator during the Construction Phase
The Health and Safety Coordinator during the Construction Phase (CSE) plays a fundamental role in monitoring and controlling the implementation of safety measures throughout the execution of the works. The CSE ensures that the provisions of the PSC are properly applied and that site activities are carried out in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Main activities:
- Verification and control of the correct implementation of the safety measures set out in the PSC.
- Assessment of the suitability of the Site Safety Plan (POS), which supplements and integrates the PSC.
- Updating the PSC and the project safety file in line with the progress of the works.
- Reporting any non-compliance and adopting appropriate corrective measures.
- Immediate suspension of works in the event of imminent danger to workers.
Risk Assessment
We provide risk assessment services, including the preparation of all required documentation in accordance with Italian legislation. We offer consultancy for the correct drafting of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), mandatory under Legislative Decree 626/1994 which defines guidelines and preventive measures to ensure health and safety in the workplace.
In addition, we prepare the DUVRI (Documento Unico di Valutazione dei Rischi da Interferenze), a key document for preventing accidents arising from interference risks during the execution phase of works.
